Tatreez is a detailed form of embroidery typical of traditional Palestinian textiles. Palestinian-Scottish artist Leena Nammari RSA SSA will deliver a talk on the history of Tatreez, and then participants will be guided to try out Tatreez techniques themselves. The event is supported by the School of Art History’s EDI Committee and @79 Makerspace. It offers staff and students a hands-on opportunity to take part in cultural education and develop their artistic skills. Link in our instagram bio.
